A model's reading — qwen3.8-27b, prompt own-v1, 2026-10-13T22:11Z · confidence high

Plaintiffs moved to seal supplemental expert declarations and portions of an opposition brief containing proprietary business information and trade secrets. The court granted the motion, ordering the materials sealed until further order.

What the court decidedThe model
Plaintiffs' Motion to File Under Seal (ECF No. 798) is granted.
“Based on the foregoing, the Court finds that there are compelling reasons to GRANT the Motion. It is ORDERED the Sealed Materials shall be SEALED until further order of this Court.”
agree with court
The court applied the 'compelling reasons' standard, which is the correct legal standard for sealing materials in federal court. The order recites specific facts—that the materials contain trade secrets, confidential revenues, and investment quantities—that support a finding of compelling reasons to prevent public disclosure. The decision follows logically from the stated facts and the cited authority.

The order itself: sound — The order is procedurally correct and applies the appropriate 'compelling reasons' standard for sealing. It cites a relevant district court case to support the finding that trade secrets and confidential financial data warrant protection from public disclosure. The reasoning is concise but sufficient for a routine sealing motion where the nature of the confidential information is clearly described.
